i want to add my public thanks to kurt for the terrific service he gave me when i ordered my new driver over the phone...i have never been fitted long distance...that's really a trip!...

i told kurt that it was the first time in my life that i gave someone, who i did not know, my credit card without checking them out...doing business with a person who is honorable is more important than the reason for doing the business...

in any event, my club came in a week or so "as advertised"...thus far i've hit balls at the driving range, and it truly feels good...let's see what the golf course brings ... [i can't wait]

Thought I would add my 2 cents worth on a testimonial for the new driver I just recently acquired from you.
Was just fooling around checking out new golf equipment,and came across your Co.
Saw the "Navy Hawk Plus" with the Grafalloy shaft.Was lucky enough to talk to you about it.
I am 72 years old with a 9 handicap and my driving distance has dropped to about 200 yards.I ordered the above club with a senior flex and when it came,took it to the driving range. This is
no fishing tale story.The first drive I hit carried the 200 yard marker as did the rest of the balls I hit.As you know ,I just ordered the 3 wood.

Earlier this summer, I ordered a left handed 7 and 9 wood with a particular graphite shaft that went out of production some time ago (Aldila Clubmaker).

Well, since we have had a lot of rain this past summer in the Northeast, I really needed the entire summer, and now early fall, to put in the time with these clubs to see how I felt about them.

I like both of them. Although I had a little trouble adjusting to them at first (particularly the 9), I have found that both clubs work well with my swing technique, and they both give me the ball flight that I prefer (right to left fade). I use a lot less effort with the 7 and 9 woods than I needed with the 3 and 4 irons, and I get a nice, high trajectory, with appropriate distance. I have confidence now for those 180-90 yard shots.

Plus the Jumbo style matches the woods already in my bag aesthetically. And I'm really happy that all my woods have matching shafts--they all feel the same no matter which club I swing. And the low price I paid is the icing on the cake.

Thanks so much, and I will definitely consider you if I ever need to replace anything else in my set.

Well, I lied when I told you that you would never hear from me again, however this is good news. I would like for you to quote me on the Acer Sole Undercut 1 Iron. You can use the same spec's. as you did for the set I bought i.e., Sr Flex, Graphite Shaft (Blue), + 3/4's of an inches added to the length. I would like however to change the grip to the Lamkin Permawrap Oversize. Do you carry that Grip?

By the way since I've learned how to hit the clubs you sold me my Handicap has dropped by 4 strokes, I just have to do some rethinking on my club selection as I am hitting each club about 10 to 15 yards longer then I did with my previous set of clubs. That's the kind of problems I like having.

I have seen the Impex Utility clubs on the web, but it difficult to see how large the head is compared to the utility clubs (example the vel... clubs I brought last year). How does this club compare in design and size to the vel's or the "controller" iron.

Just getting some info for next golf season!!! It is cold in OH (0) and there is 5 inches of snow on the ground.

PS - I love my 27 and 39 degree vel utility irons. There are a mid to high handicapper best friend.

Hey Jimmy how's it going?! I'm writing you this e-mail because I am so
happy with my "Tight Lies" knock-off (Super Concorde Shallow Face #3 club), that I would like to order two more clubs. Below are the specifications for the clubs I want.
3/22/99, Monday

1) A right-handed Super Concorde Shallow Face #1 metal wood driver
with the lowest loft available (7, 9 or 10 degree loft). I would like the black
graphite shaft and the same grip that is on my Super Concorde #3, I think
it's feel and whip is excellent! The shaft is the "Aldila VX" and the grip is the
black "Golf Pride Tour Wrap". I would like this in the standard length for a
#1 driver.

2) A right-handed Super Concorde Shallow Face #5 metal wood with
standard
loft and all the aforementioned particulars.

The Super Concorde #3 club that you made has improved my "long game"
tremendously! My brother-in-law Jimmy Douglas let me hit with it a couple
of times and I liked it so much that I bought it from him.

Using the #3 Tech Power tri-metal, I was able to hit from the fairway (about 150 yds) with a wood for the first time. It came in handy at Los Serranos, since
those fairways are so long.
