The easiest method of measuring the standard length of a belly putter is to address a golf ball with a standard putter, then have another person measure the distance from the golfers belly button to the floor. Enter this measurement in the box on the right. Recommended lengths are between 38 and 43 inches

The Long Putter can be anchored in a variety of methods. Some players hold the putter near their breastbone under the chin, other golfers are more bent over and have the putter firmly anchored against their upper breastbone, while some golfers even anchor their top hand against their chin. We recommend that the golfer see what feels most comfortable by using a broomstick to feel the hand positions that are most comfortable. Once the position of the top of the putter has been determined then assume a comfortable address position and have another person measure the distance from the top of the top hand (left hand for right handed golfers) to the floor. Recommended lengths are between 44 and 52 inches.
