The Acer XDS React fairway woods and hybrids are a blended set wherein the woods transition into hybrids . The woods start at a 15 degree #3 wood then to a 18 degree Machete wood, then to a #3 hybrid extending all the way into sand wedge. The Machete is a cross between a 5 and 7 wood in terms of loft and weight to bridge the distance gap between a #3 wood and #3 hybrid iron in the set.
